Unhappy classifieds advice

I was wondering if there's something wrong with my ad's wording or is the truck that bad? I'd provide the link, but i'm not trying to make another ad on here(it's a black '97 with a big front bumper). Is it a slow time of year? Should I just head for the car & truck trader? No calls, nor messages about it in a month. Maybe patience is a virtue.

Personaly I think the Classifieds should have a default display listing of most recent listed instead of most viewed, I also think that there's just not many people seriously shopping for vehicles right now due to the crapy economy

You also have to remember that we all already have trucks. That's why we're here.. Not too many of us need two.......

I agree about the classifieds. I don't do searches on it because it is rather cumbersome to me to find what is new, etc.. just my .002

That's along the lines of what I've been thinking. Thanks for responses!

We do have some software issues with the classified section, it is supposed to remove ads after they have been up a certain amount of time, but it doesn't work.

Also many people place ads, but do not bother to come back and mark an item sold once they sell it

I like the truck classifieds. I look at them everyday. Would like see them automatically sorted to most recent though.

It would be nice if sold items would disappear after a couple of days. When you post a classified it asks you how long you want it to run I think it's 30,60,or90 days. Some of those ads have been ther since February!! I know that you can't remove an ad once it's there. It has to be done by a moderator. Maybe a moderator could comb through the classifieds and start removing the ones that are sold or very old... Just a thought...
Top says they know there are issues so I'm sure it's being worked out.

I noticed the change today. Way better! more options during posting an ad, It defaults on most recent instead of most views. Great work! now for it to sell
