Can I attach a .WMV file

I was wondering if I could attach a .WMV file to a thread?

No, the only attachments you can post are ones with the gif jpeg jpg pdf or png extensions. What about uploading the .wmv file to a website like www.sendspace.com and then linking to it in the thread?
