Add VP44 to your signature

After just replacing my VP44, and reading several digruntled member stories about the dreaded VP, I think we should add to our signature whether or not we have replaced our VP or not. If you have replaced it, give miles at time of replacement. I think there is two of us that have done it. It would be a good way to prove the reliabilty of the pump. I know alot of us have replaced it and there has to be plenty of members that have not. Mabey a poll or something. Or mabey actuall Dodge people will take us seriously. Reliabilty shouldn't be an issue for our beloved trucks.

What about upgrading the sigs to include which (if any) #2 additive you use - along with how low you run your tank?

It's just another line of ACSII...

Dodge knows there was a problem with the VP's but they could care less now..that they went common rail...
I think fed-ex made Bosch come up with a improved circuit board but it's been so long since I read about VP's I cant remember the whole story.. and that still wont save the diaphragm inside the VP that goes bad, because of a lack of extra fuel/lube
