So we went camping at pacific beach this weekend. Parked sunday on the side of the county road(hiway 109) so the wife could go into a farmers market on the side of the road. Kids and I are in the truck watching a movie and WHAM!. I look in the rear view and see nothing. Then I feel Bang again. So I get out, and there's a corolla jammed into my weight distributing hitch, and a 50year old 300# lady kicking my tailgate(or trying to). I ask what the heck are you doing lady?

"you cant park here, this is in front of my house, and of course beep, beep, beep, every word in the book" No honk, no tap on the window, just slammed into my truck and started kicking it. I told her I'm not moving now till she gets a cop.
So she calls 911, starts cussing and screaming at the dispatcher, tells dispatcher she'll ram it and kick it again if they dont get there and get me towed fast.
Cops(2 cars) gets there quick, she starts cussing and yelling at them too
So I just sit there, and let them give her heck. She tells them she'll do it again while they watch if I dont move.
No damage to my truck, she needs a new rear bumper, and a reckless driving ticket(for rear ending me) and malicious mischief ticket(for kicking it)
Meanwhile my wife is shopping and doesnt know anything is going on. Finally comes out, sees this corolla impaled on my hitch and is like what the ? She hear's the story and starts
The lady told the cop she was trying to push my truck out of the way!!!!!
Cop tells crazy lady I can park there all day long, nothing she can do.

Anyway, going back there to camp in october, gonna make tons of FREE Parking signs to add to her fence late at night.

What if I was a wacko and popped her with a gun or something? This world is FULL of crazies

 

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that one!! Just watching her "try" to kick the tailgate would have been classic. What is this world coming to.

its a shame she didnt fall when she tried to kick your truck..i bet she wouldve looked like a turtle stuck on her shell trying to get back up!

that's why i wasnt too worried about her damaging anything, you could only really reach the bumper and didnt have enough force to break the taillights, which she was trying to do.

she never touched the bumper. her bumper perfectly lined up with my weight distributing receiver(which i never take out) she didnt even remove the grease from the ball.
