That thing looks line the real deal. The craftsmanship in it is awsome. I would love to be able to do something like that.

and I bet no one that sees it on the road realizes he has straight axles, instead of independent front and rear suspension

A lot of sweat and teers to stick a crap, ford, IFS under there. The body is sweet though. I'd at least look for an earlier bronco d44/9 inch combo if not a 1 ton.

I looked at that last night, truly amazing IMO. The only thing I would have done differently is put 1-ton axles under it and put 39"-42" tires, I have always thought the 37's looked undersize.

IF ya read threw it he said he has NO need for a heavy duty drivtrain as its just gona be a daily driver and maby tow a car trailer. He said his wifes Liberty has a better chance of going off road so the heavy axles and big tires would not do him any good. I say more power to him. He built it the way he wanted it with the drivtrain he wanted. I figured everyone on here would say it needs solid axles and a Cummins but thats not what he wanted, if it was then thats what it would have. He built it out of parts he had available from donor trucks.

Why bother with making all the details when a Hummer replica kits are available that will probably drop right on to the donor stuff?

Wow guy has more skill then I can ever hope for.

As far as he should have done this or that ect ect, when you do something like that yourself from the ground up and fabing some of the tools needed along the way, have your house flooded out at the same time, you can do what ever you want and no one has the right to complain about it.(some of the posters in that forum)

Same area of "Walking a 100 miles in there shoes" saying.

If you think about it all his metal was free all the parts were donor and he fabed alot of the more costly tools, heck it more then likly cost him less to make that Ford/Hummer then what we spend on modding our trucks per year.

Just a note on this guys posts: If you take the time to read it in there is something about that site/post is linked to something like 8 or 9 diffrent countrys and has over 100,000 hits so far, from Russia to Australia.

Awesome job. If I had the time, money, and talent I would have put rockwell axles under it and made it an offroad monster with a Cummins.
