Moving Servers Tonight!!

I'll be moving servers tonight at approximately 11:00pm Eastern time to the new server! The good news is that the site will be much faster. The bad news is that I have to do it so early in the night. Because I work during the day and need to sleep before I go to work, 11pm eastern it'll be

I'll close the site promptly at 11. Cutover will take 1-2 hours.

Move is completed. Please let me know immediately if you have any problems, especially with image uploads and putting up classified ads. Thanks for your patience everyone!

Looks good so far Jack. I haven't tried to upload photos yet so I can't report on that however I have noticed the pages load faster than when they were on the other server.

Yeah I notice a improvement in web speed. It seem very snappy now.

I've seen no errors or problems yet...

specs I think were dual xeon 3ghz each, raid setup, and gobs of ram of course

great work, now I can only imagine the day when I cant remember what the phrase about search being disabled .... Nice job thanks and any time you are looking for spare parts feel free to post to the wanted section, I can find deals that'll make George W's eyes pop !

Dell PE2850, dual 3.0 Xeon with 2GB mem. Lots of hard drive space. OS is on Raid 1 while the data directories are on Raid 5.
