Night and day difference compared to the 3rd gen seat. Wow, these are comfy! I sit at a lower height than I did prior with the way I had the 3rd gens mounted (I could've done better but never got around to doing so). Well worth the money in my opinion.

I have plans to install a center console. Either make the 3rd gen console work, look for others to use or make my own, somehow. Carpet will also happen soon. I didn't have time to look for a good carpet company in the short time that it took for these to arrive. Plus, I wasn't gonna just let them sit in the boxes. I had to install them!

Very nice. Got a link where you got them?

We all have had brainfarts from time to time, and luckily I don't believe he caused any problems from it.

Corbeau Baja XRS suspension seats along with their vehicle specific frame.
I just checked out their web-site. I'll have to do some more research, these seats look like they could be a really excellent option for many vehicles . . . Not being aware of them before, can you give us a more detailed "review"?

Regardless, they look great in your truck.
Thanks,

Alec

Needed to grab a few bolts at TSC and the wife had to work today, so..... As soon as the kids woke up, we hopped in the truck and headed out. Wouldn’t you know, that mud puddle jumped out in front of me again. I had to turn around a few times to get out of there.... That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! I guess the pressure washer is coming back out again. The kids had a blast.

I like your original 1973 factory cargo light. And those new tow mirrors look bad **** on the old gal. You got me thinking about fabbing up some custom stainless steel tow mirrors for my rig. Some day.

I pulled my alternator out of the truck and added a Transpo internal voltage regulator. I also added a tach wire off one of the stator bolts. I bought a Faria alternator signal tach for $50 on fleabay. I'm curious to see if how it works.

Some one had to start the whole LED cargo lightbar trend. I’m slowly getting used to these mirrors. I’d like to do something custom as well.... I’ll probably use this style of mirror head though. Vision is great!

Any loss in leg room? I’ve thought about putting 4th gen regular cab seats in my truck, but I can’t afford to lose leg room as my knees are already close to the dash with me being 6’4”

As for myself, I haven't noticed a loss at all. There's a chance I might have gained some but it could just be the change in the angle of my knees when seated. That could be part of the improvement in comfort coming from 3rd gen seats.
