6.7L flexplate on a 5.9L
Dealership rebuilt tranny 10K mi ago, under warranty, & didn't lock-tite TC bolts. Needless to say they came loose & did some damage. Now they are gonna repair a few things free of charge so I was gonna have them use a 6.7L if it will fit. Otherwise, I'd be going w/the black BD flexplate. Anyone w/a for sure answer on the fitment?

They shouldn't be special order - anything the dealer doesn't stock usually shows up first thing next morning... have them get both & compare at the counter if you know what you're looking for.
He said about 3 times more durable & about .085" thick. They don't have all of the cut-outs that the 5.9 has. Here's a pic of one.

Well after some research and measuring it turns out that the 6.7 uses a different bolt than the 5.9 version. Now the center portion of it isn't exactly the same which can allow the torque converter to not be centered which can cause a vibration that would take out the pump on the transmission.
