The REVOlution starts here.
That's weird. I always see 18-20k while cruising at 75mph. The only time I see 14-15k at cruise is while going around 40-50mph.

I think I've experienced something similar, only it was with an older program. It almost seemed like a lack of fuel for a split second.
Time for a couple updates.
I went through the TNT/R timing maps. That text is in bold and underlined because I've finally pulled my head outta the hole it must have been sticking in!

A dedicated race software like the Revo TNT/R needs different injection timings ,and or RP's ( amongst several other things ) than a "standard" every day driver truck tune.
Different softwares, different purposes, different settings.
New timing is now :
# 1 = Stock timing
# 2 = Higher than stock. This is the DEFAULT!!!!
# 3 = Less timing than # 2 but still higher than stock.
# 4 = LESS timing than stock, NOs.... a first attempt to see how things go....
From my experience, #2 should work well for most trucks. If you have one of those trucks that rattle a lot, well go to # 3 or even # 4.
This revised version is the 5.2. A few are already out there. Let's see what them guys havta say.
One thing to keep in mind is that the timing in the previous version was done with a balance between mileage and performance in mind. Version 5.2 is steering more towards the performance side of things.
With the help of your feedback we're getting closer to the final version! !
Thanks!
Now, both Bob and me have that ugly feeling that several guys must have misunderstood how the level of any item ( RP, Timing, TM....) have to be changed. Or better how to get them from Smarty to the ECM.
Let's take a simple example. The user selctable items are all at the default level. Now you want to change let's say the timing level. You go into the timing menu and select #3. Now, in order to become effective you HAVE to download any CaTCHER into the ECM. Simply plugging in Smarty and changing the level DOES NOTHING else than storing your preference into Smartys memory!!!! YOU HAVE TO FLASH THE ECM!!!!
Makes sense?
Thanks for listening!
Marco

hey marco, i have heard that you changed the standard TNT mapping around since i received it, is this right? And is there any way to get the new adjusted tnt? My setting #4 sounds like more timing and im looking for a setting to run my nitrous on.
Thanks
Bill
Thanks
Bill
So is it going to be the same as you set up for the "R" tune? I don't need the "R" tune cuz I don't have springs at the moment, but I'd love to have those timing options so I can try setting #4 to stack with my Juice.
So right now I'm running 4.11 w/ aftermarket injectors and turbo. On an even sw what number would that be from what you just listed on the new "R" settings and what number on an even sw?
