I need the guys that asked for this beta for towing and fuel economy to not use this program and please go back to a published software on the MADS site

http://www.madselectronics.com/download.html

The is a beta software and now that we know the results the stock guys that asked for this software need to take it easy.

Curtis went from 197 hp stock to 369 hp on software 1 on this 2003 yesterday.

I want to thank TB for his dyno testing today.

This is fabulous! I love it! I have always been quite conservative with my driving style with these programs, but now I know for sure. My truck is set up a lot like yours so I can't be far from your numbers. Here comes a tranny and a turbo!!!

Bob,
Do you have any other numbers from the 2003? Was it a SO or an HO? Has anyone dynoed a 305/555 on beta 4.4?

those were some nice numbers. I'm very surprised to see them so high though.

I dynoed my truck on the Dunbar machine. Running the smarty on beta 4.3 # 7
and the TST on 2/0.

The best I could get was 441hp and 885TQ The stock tranny couldn't handle any more than that. The TQ slipped at top RPM ever time.

It's hard to believe the only running the smarty those numbers were had. Maybe because we have different trucks, I don't know....

here's my dyno sheet...

the red line is stacked and the blue is the smarty alone....

pardon my ignorance, but why is this such a big deal?

Robert aka TexasCTD has been dynoing time after time right at 466-467hp for months on a stock truck with a Smarty on #9.

The difference between 1 and 9 on Beta 4.4 doesn't seem to be so much the fueling as where it is applied.....9 has a much broader torque and hp curve I bet... Amazing numbers for a downloader. With a built tranny and lots of cool wet air going in.....It is a blast. If you are bone stock and stock tranny...Keep you foot out of it as that max tq/hp is beyond the capacity of the stock auto and clutch...plus the aggressiveness of the torque rise is well beyond what stock was meant to handle. If you can get your turbo to 40psi...it seems to stay relatively cool. ks

Has to be an SO motor. Stock HO's is usually around 240-270hp.

Not much diff between #5 and #9? Shoot, look how little difference there is between #1 and #9!
For those who havent run on #1 at all, you should try it and give Bob/Marco your feedback. I ran it for towing and just about killed my tranny. Thats when I first realized it was WAAAAYYYYYYY more than a 30hp bump.

On edit; When did Bob post that? I'll have to search it out. Shoot, I just had the Boeing Police out following me around after testing #5 on the Perimeter road! Tires are going to expensive!

I like 4.4 just the way it is. I have no problems at all. Running s/w #7 egts stay under 1400*, turbo spools great "50 psi", little to no smoke for normal driving and rail pressure doesn't go over 24.5K. Truck has never run better and has all the power I want "12.40s".
