Mine gets approx. 20-21 in summer 18-19 in winter (mostly highway) I've got a 4x4 with oversized tires. Check your overflow valve and air filter too. Both of those will cause mileage issues.

Well I dug into the pump, pulled all the governor springs, cleaned everything. Nothing looked out of place or out of adjustment, put everything back together. It runs better, but it will still lope...
