its mostly the gov. springs, they don't let you get any rpm and will not fuel as hard in the upper rpm as a 4k or 5k kit

You need gov. springs, my 4k kit is reving to 4800+ also you prolly need bigger dv's. Injectors are fine the way they are, what do you have the timing set at. I am still drawing out of the stock...

if you already have a 12valve I would leave it alone, the 24v head would flow better but it would be cheaper and easier to have someone go through the 12 valve head and open it up

Your fuel will not be gelled at those temps, way too warm. Almost all diesel unless you bought it in the deep south and even then should have enough additive to keep it from gelling to temps way...

you are right I was corrected on the price of the kit. $1800+ $1000 and up for the pump. I used a cable to shut mine off, for pulling you need a shutoff inside the cab anyway

the kit minus the p-7100 is like $1500 from haisleys, pump would be another $1000-???? depending on how much you want. Don't let anybody tell you it isn't worth it.
