EPA’s Threating Competition Motorsports

I generally try to refrain from the "off topic/political" forum section since everything just ends up bad..... But I felt it necessary to point this out to anyone and everyone in the forum who doesn't already know. Especially since it may affect a considerable amount of people we do know.

The Environmental Protection Agency is trying to make it illegal to change a factory on-road vehicle into a competition vehicle. Read this link from SEMA and take the time to let your legislators know how you feel. SEMA Action Network (SAN) AA2016FED1

I saw that about 2 days ago, isn't the "empowered" by O'Bama EPA a treat?

My Prayer - - - God, give us patience, wisdom and the energy to thwart the inventions of our evil president. And, please do not allow Bernie or Hillary to replace him. Amen.

Bobby has a point. This guy is pretty creative at inventing "law" to enforce his intentions. In his view, the basic law of the land is to be ignored if it's inconvenient.

Lord help us all if he gets to nominate a replacement for Scalia, and our gutless representatives don't effectively block it.

There's a petition going around to stop it. I don't know how much weight it carries but I signed it.

I've signed it too.

But something worth pointing out is that regulatory obstacles in our lives are never actually "stopped". Yelling and complaining and signing countless petitions definitely helps too, but regulatory issues will always threaten our overall lives as those people who want the power and control never go away.

So in reality all we can really do at best is merely delay the process of a socialistic and communist agenda because unfortunately humanity's natural reaction to most things which cross our daily paths is addressed by "as long as it doesn't directly affect me then I'm OK with it". How many people do you know who've said that exact statement.....?

Well.....in saying this, that very psychology delusion is what legislators use to their advantage against us as they slowly squeeze through their changes within our lives which dont "appear" to be upfront affecting us directly.....but will always come around to bite us in the rear. Heck, they've been doing it for generations and will continue to because most people just dont care or have the time. Rather we're too busy working and putting food on the table and trying to enjoy the meager time we do have off. Its all the non-working protesting yahoo's who actually have the freedom to complain. Sad to say but its that straight forward.....
