someone tell me please why some people argue that fords are "built" better than dodges...tell me how or where cause i'll run into a joe shmoe at a gas station and he has to run his mouth about the "quality" built of his ford thats sitting at home right now ....i have seen alot more rust on fords in previous generations...doors that dont close properly anymore...it all reminds me off when we were kids and we used to tell each other "my daddy's stronger than ur daddy"

i'll keep my dodge thanks

Andrew

OK, just so you know, FORD DOES BUILD JUNK, i work for the largest ford dealership in northern colorado and if you ask any ford diesel tech if they would ever own a 6 liter powerstroke they would just look at you and prolly try to smack you. The 6 liter diesel that ford produces has more issues than micheal jackson does. It isn't just one thing that goes wrong with them its EVERYTHING. The engine would be amazing if they didn't use such cheap parts to build the engine with(seals, heads, and so on). When you see diesel tech's at my dealership that will only drive a 7.3 ltr stroke or a cummins or a duracrap it says something about their quality. Every car manufactuer screws up somewhere. The duramax in my opinion is a grocery getter truck with an amazing tranny, the cummins is by far the best built diesel engine on the road these days with an OK(at best) drive train, and the powerstroke is an amazing engine WHEN IT RUNS.. I have seen 05's in the shop with blown head gaskets, leaking seals and so on. That is sad when a truck has that happen with under 7k miles.
