Even though you got whooped, you were probably still grinning from ear to ear.

I occasionally run up against another Dodge and we trade puffs of black, but usually the conditions aren't right for letting them loose. Still makes me smile.

Man I love these trucks. Last week I saw a guy in a 2nd gen dually put a whoopin in on a nissan low rider. Beat him bad. The best part was the dually had a big load of firewood in the back!

when I first got my clutch I raced a PSD. we came to a stoplight and his lane ended about 1/2 a mile up the road. I heard him rev it up a little to get a jump on me and even with the 25' GN horse trailer and 2 horses I beat him. I was suprised and his trucck must have been stock. All I know is I left him in a cloud.

Ain't it neat when you get em while pulling a trailer The way that usually works is they come off at the light strong and then you catch and pass them, love the expression

I was driving to dallas in the Excursion with the 130chip and somewhere along the way they had a LS1-LT1 shootout and this trans Am comes on and I have to get over to let him on so I get on it let out a cloud and slow back down once he got on. Well he I guess knows that when diesel smokes alot like I did their kinda mod'd so he come up to me tryin to play I just laughed and kinda took off but not really took it to maybe 25psi and let off. Well he took off and just flat out left me. My dad laughed at me and told me to catch him. So I lay'd it down took it to 32psi and passed the guy doin about 115mph (ON A OPEN ROAD) the guy was like And so he passed me after I slowed down and gave me a thumbs up. Just glad he didnt look at the side of his car.

I get bold and brazzened then i get my ego handed to me especially when pulling a trailer. Ussually by somebody who has more money in thier motor or doesnt care about running crazy EGT's and putting the motor into melt down.

Just for my story
On one of the last nights that i was out on a date in Sacrameto with the old Ford, the two girls and my friend all chimed in "Oh that guy's is trying to get you to race him" Guess i was thinking with the little head when my date urged me to give him a run for his money onto the onramp. An overchipped automatic HO Dmax held me by two truck lengths till i banged 4th and barked the tires (I goofed ) grabbed 5th and we pulled nose to nose to 60 then i pulled ahead by 1 TL till i hit sixth it was all over but the crying. he actually flashed me over and asked what i had done to my PSD to make it scoot so well. I opened the hood so he could at the 6cyl. LOL he said he never seen that and he thought his truck was fast, I told him it was then i told him i out weigh him by 1000# and only had about $200 in torque plate in my truck and that i get 19-21 mpg regularly.

Ok so i lied a little on the amount of money in my mods. The look on his face was priceless, hed never seen a cummins move like that, and i didnt think mine was that impressive. 1 thing i knowticed he didnt have gauges. He did ask how much boost i pull and i told him 39#s at WOT. Funny how so many Newbees to Bombing dont gauge thier trucks.

I prefer munching mustang GT's. They're yummy on sunday afternoons. They must be talking amongst each other cause I don't get many challanges any more.

Now thats comparing Apples and Oranges, underpowered small block with over grown child behind the wheel thinking his stock powered mustang maybe with headers and a chip has OH GOD 400HP if you add up all the advertised gains. Play nice children I love it when they think that way don't you makes em easier to beat and make them cry. .

Heheheeh... all too true. Last night after filling up a Yellow MustangGT didn't feel like letting me merge & sped up to cut me off. I laughed, pressed the go pedal and held on tight -- sure nuf' I came out about 3 car lengths ahead at the merge point ~300 yards up the road. Had a horrible time keeping it on the damp road.

brandon.

About 3 weeks after I got my truck, on the 2 lane highway you get those idiots that ride your tail, so everyone that does that to me, I let 'em pass and then I hammer it and leave them (too bad I don't have exhaust on the driver side ), but anyway, I was feeling really good, and I saw a corvette (brand new, didn't even have plates) coming up on me, so I laid it down... This is where I would say I walked him, but to be honest, I might as well have just hit the brake That'll change once I get the money tree to start growing...

No amount of money will beat a stock vette. Sorry.
If you bought your truck to beat a true sportscar, you did wrong! But it sure is fun beating those little 4-bangers with the coffee can exhausts and the occasional mustang.
