Where to buy a Head?

In the process of replacing my head gasket and adding studs. Dropped the head off to get checked out and cleaned this morning. A few hours later I got the bad news that it had a couple of cracks in it.

So now I am shopping for a head. Of course I want quality and a good price. I would like to go ahead and get a o-ringed head if possible. Where is a good place to start looking?

We have 24v heads available. Also 12v heads. I think your looking for a 24v head, we can also get a head o-ringed. You can find the heads new and remanufactured under 24v perforamance and the o-ring, resurface, jetwash, and pressure testing is located in the services tab.

How bad were the cracks? I bet more than half the guys on this board have cracked heads. Sorry, that sounded funny.

Contact TRE Diesel, Tim knows how to do the repair. If you think you need to get a new head then PDW is probably the way to go.

I bought my NEW head from www.puredieselpower.com

Garrett has some of the best prices and he does anything you want to it. I bought the new head, had it stage 2 ported and polished, 60# valve springs, 5 angle valve job with backcut valves and had it o-ringed.
