what's next? performance help

i have a 1999 2500. Put in an edge juice with attitude, 4" straight pipes, ARE air box, truck came with a air dog lift pump, I recently changed the filters, have cleaned the IAT and last night put in a set of bully dog 100hp injectors. Truck runs great but I don't feel I,m getting the "awesome" power that everyone talks about. Not sure if I need to look towards turbo or what next, or am I just not being realistic what the performance should be. Thanks.

I'm not familiar w/those injectors but its going to be a combination of things that's going to make the difference. With the items in my sig...I'm completely happy w/the way the truck performs. Pretty much has great take off, can pull a house, run thru the desert and get 20mpg all @ 70mph. With that set up you should have a noticeable diff. Check the waste gate making sure you're getting the most out of the turbo. 35psi s/b about the max for an hx35.

I would run larger injectors and a water/meth spray set-up. I've run 6X13's (DPP 300hp sized, my size around 200HP).

How are your injectors set-up?

Typically bigger turbos equal more laggyness. Twins are great as well, but the oil/coolant leaks drove me crazy.

For a VP truck 59-62mm inducer turbo isn't back, with smaller turbine A/R. I liked the garrett turbos GT3782 stage 1 or stage 2's. The s300's have too many issues and don't seem to last. Seen a ton of wiped thrust bearing and cracked turbine housing over the years. Often its china cloned.

If you can score a HE351cw (off an 06/07 ctd truck), its probably cheapest best option going.

What type of tranny you running? whats the diff gearing? Im a gear head love lower gears! If it is an auto atriple disc and a good quality valve body wakes them up! Just my opinion

Is everything doing what it's supposed to be doing; good fuel pressure, no exhaust leaks before turbo, turbo condition/operation, tranny slipping, intake air leaks, inter cooler boots good shape. Just a few thoughts if it is really lacking performance.
