How much HP do you have??
Ive herd that your hp can be pretty limited with the trucks that have the vp44. Im just wondering what some of you guys are getting with your stock or aftermarket vp44? Let me know if your running stock or aftermarket also plz thanks

Well, I don't have my 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve anymore, but I got 540 H.P.
with the following modifications when I had it:
1.) Stock VP-44
2.) Scheid Lightning Injectors
3.) HX-40/16 Holset Turbo
4.) Aftermarket Fuel Pump/System
5.) Stock Headbolts
6.) TST PM 3 (Competition) "Stacked" with Edge EZ
7.) Full Billet ATS Stage VI Transmission

I'm probably around 400ish for "dyno" power with a Smarty and M4s
Definitely not real world useable for sustained runs. This combo will push a stock charger well past 40psi.

From what Ive read in the past. Alot of power can be made with a stock VP. ithe biggest thing with it is if its a HO or SO VP44.
The HO's can be very restrictive around 450 HP I think? but ive seen dyno results of 5-600 on the stock SO VP44. Im sure more will chime in.
I havent dyno'd my truck but based on friends with similar set ups as me, I think Im around 350 RWHP. Next will be injectors and Smarty followed by coumpound studs and o-rings here.

Stock vp with 195k, drag comp, lightning 4's 7 x .018, 64/71/14, 285/75r16 tires and Goerend trans got me to 549/1093. Changed to Mach 5's and put on a set of 325/65r18's and dropped 7 hp.
