Well, this weekend sucked! Cracked the block and have some kind of fuel problem or some how oil is getting into the exhaust. I havent had much time to look at it.....but i know its not the turbo. The motor is going to come out because Im not into fixing a cracked block. I have been thinking of doing a CR swap, The only thing is im worried about getting my gauges to work and beeing able to tune it with downloaders. Anyone done this to a second gen yet? Anyone that would be good to talk to about geting everything to work?

I would do a 12 valve swap instead.

 

It'd be easier to swap your 2nd Gen body onto the donor HPCR's rolling chassis/powertrain.

 

Why? the trans will work fine from my second gen but I would still need to figure a OBD2 port out and gauges
