What turbo will match future fuel

I have my #8 tst plate plan to get 300's or 330's and 181 dv's. I'm shooting for right at or just under 400 hp. I have a new gasket with bolts, can I upgrade to studs on a stock gasket without having to take it all apart again?

I was thinking the htbg 57 or 60?? I don't know much about turbo's but I tow around town a lot but hardly ever over 9k. Occationally getting hay, 6 or 7 tons but maybe twice a year if that. I have a built auto so I would like not much lag especially when pulling the horses. Any info will help.

Jered

PS. I'm at 4,000 ft in elevation if that makes a difference.

You can get there fairly easy with either an htb2 62/65/14 191 a 100 plate and a decent set of injectors and that all depends on what you want to spend. If your not worried about smoke just go for the marine style 300's or 370's great bang for the buck but a little smokey. As far as your head goes I would just go with a marine HG and get it O ringed with new bolts if done right you won't have any issues.....

Our Super B is a 57 that will support that no problem. It will have great throttle response and you will be up on boost when you are working it. Altitude definately does play into things but with that number you will be fine. If you decide that down the road you want to go bigger you can also upgrade our single into twins.

As far as the head bolts go, if you have done the gasket very recently and torqued the head down correctly you shouldnt need to go to studs with our charger. I have heard of guys on a fresh gasket replacing one bolt with a stud at a time. Following the normal torque pattern to do it. Dont know if I would trust it.
