Instructions say to use new torque-to-yield bolts with the fluidamper, but for the price you pay for the damper itself, they are too cheap to give you 4 new bolts with it.

Any know what size bolts it is so i dont have to take one out and go match them

 

Either thats new or I missed it cuz I reused the oem bolts =\

 

I don't remeber the exact size but I just get them direct from Cummins......

 

Wow - as $$$ as the FluiDamper is, you'd think they could throw in the hardware!

 

Mine didn't even come with instructions!

Bolts are 12mm fine thread. I just reused mine. A couple times actually. 130 ft.-lbs. and all is still well.

 

I don't think I would take a chance on off the shelve bolts,
Lot of money invested in the engine , Better to buy 4 new cummins bolts and
torque to spec.

 

How do you install that fluid dampener?
