Like you said, the Tial F38seems to pretty popular. Its a great piece and it must work well for so many here to be using it. Personally, I like the Tial V44 because it mounts with a V-band clamp and has no gasket to blow out. I have one of them on my turbo Mitsubishi and its also a great piece. However, the 44 is significantly more expensive ($375 vs. $225) so if I were looking to do a WG on my truck I'd probably go with the F38. The only reason I went with the V44 on my car was that it was part of a ridiculously low priced package deal I got from a local guy that bought the parts and then pulled the plug on the entire project he was going to use them on.

thats a really good poing the v-band makes it so much nicer. ifyou use a good metal gasket with the 38 youll be good though. look at turbosmart also, they have nice stuff, and may make a smaller wg with a v-band. I would loog in the 38 range and if you can find one v-band go that route, if not stay with the tial 38

When you decide to pull the trigger, talk to Tom at turboresource.com, he has good prices on all that stuff. The V44 was about 70% of what was quoted here, same with the F38.
