What do you think of this combination ?

How does 275's with an EZ sound.........will the stock clutch handle it? Another option is...going with EDM's mach 1.5 or Mach 2's and just using the EZ as a boost fooler? I dont want to replace the clutch yet, but dont want to continue buying injectors. Will the clutch handle the EDM's using just the EZ just as a boost fooler? Opinions welcome. Thanks Don

Buy a clutch and get the Mach 2s.

Thats what I would do.

Good setup.

I've had this setup for about 1 yr now and have put 30,000 miles on it without any issues with my transmission.

You only made 236 HP with an EZ? You will love the RV275 and EZ you will get a very noticable increase with injectors on your truck, more so then with the EZ.

You have to remember that not all tranny's act the same with the same setups. I plan on replacing my clutch before I throw the 275's in (after I order my EZ after a few more paychecks). More than a few people have told me to wait and replace my clutch 1st before the 275's go in. I just like to make sure and not take any expensive chances (poor college kid). Just my $.02.

Sorry, cmckinney, the rating of 236 HP was stock. I have yet to dyno with the EZ. I guess the HP with the EZ now is approx 280-290. TQ should be around 650 +/- . I just wasnt sure how far on the injectors I could go . Options are still open.

Thanks

I have the same setup in an HO with the 6-speed. It certain situations, I can slip the clutch. I'm being careful not to smoke it. I need a few more paychecks between mods.

If you plan on replacing your clutch then I would go for bigger injectors and get a clutch to suit your needs. The main reason I went with the RV275's was the idea of not having to spend the extra money on a clutch or if needed a turbo.

I know my truck responded well to both these mods.

I have an EZ and 50hp BD injectors and I can slip my clutch in a low rpm high boost situation, but if I watch what I am doing it won't slip. This is with about a 10,000 lb load. I dont know how much difference there is between the 50 hp and the 275's. Maybe someone will chime in and let us know. Good luck cuda, and let us know the outcome.
