What do you all think??

Hey i have a 98 ctd 12 valve and well currently i have a k&n intake, 6" stacks, no fuel plate, and tapped turbo wastegate and well i bought a 3k gsk kit also a goerend valve body with anchors and levers but have NOT installed them due to cash...im looking into getting 370 injectors, 4" downpipe, and a torque converter, 16.5 timing, and guages too but once i get more cash. I have a question though...if i install the 3k gsk kit, downpipe, 370 injectors, change the trucks timing to 16.5 and the valvebody will the valve body hold it or do i really need the converter? Will the truck be fine or na? What do you all think hopefullly you all can help me out with this thanks alot

You should get the New Era 370s , (correct spray pattern)

Do you tow?

more then likely it wont hold. Doesnt your TC slip as your truck is now?
you could always put in what you want to and see if it holds, if it slips, just take it easy till you get a TC in there...

I would say you'll need the converter. When I got my 97 it only had like 30K miles on it and with just a plate in it the TCC would slip.

I'd grinde the fuel plate and put it back in. You could stick a rack if you leave it out.
