I'm looking into water meth for my current mods. My turbo is A 60/12 if I hold the rpms to 2500 then my egts are fine but at 3k they tend to get high while pulling around 15,000 lbs up a grade. The only other mod I would like to do is a set of 370s but I need to lower the EGTs first. Does the water meth risk blowing the headgasket. Any info will help on the matter.

 

any drugs run the risk of blowing the gasket, however if used correctly and injected properly you wont have anything to worry about.

With out my water meth i can hit 45 psi of boost. But if i flip it on i can reach 47 psi. Shes getting a little high, but i dont push it too hard.

i see about a 100 degree drop on the top end, and i reach max temps slower.

 

H2O/Meth is great solution for high EGT's when towing. Actually works better for towing than for racing, IMO. I saw 150-200* difference going over the Rockies at gross weight, on a single S300 turbo, similar to yours.
There are more than enough systems out there now, with no problems reported, to feel safe. You will need a bigger reservoir (than the bottle that comes with the system) for long trips.

Do you know how many gallons of water meth per gal of #2 used. Also can it be used at WOT only.

 

you set it to come on with a hobbs switch, at the boost pressure that you want. I've got mine at 25 psi

 

As stated, comes on at your set boost level and stays on anytime over that... incl. WOT.

Mine draws from the washer fluid bottle. I used up the whole gallon going from Denver, over the Eisenhower Cut/Tunnel. 7,000'+ Climb in 1.5 hrs! Avg speed 60 mph.
