V Exhaust flanges and such??????
SPD is the only company that I know of that sell these type of items but I am sure there are more. I would like to see what everyone else is using to see what other options I have. If I could get some links would be great. Thanks.

what flange do you need??

If you have a water jet cutter in your area they can make any flange you want. Any thickness too.
V-band, buddy gets them from a shop in st. louis, mo. I was thinking flat flanges, sorry. |
I am just looking for sources to find mandrel bends, reducers, weld on v's for exahust those type of things. I an near setting up my exahust and twins and just looking for options.

You have any speed shops or custom exhaust shops in the area where you live? I just buy mine from a local turbo shop. You can cut your own turbine flanges and turbine exhaust housing flanges. I just use exhaust bends from my local auto store. 5in stuff you have to go to a truck stop. I suggest that you contact source automotive, as they are priced decently, and for the most part, and can be just bolted on. Rip is good to work with.

I've used all of these companies to buy various parts for my recent twins upgrade... hoses, clamps and flanges... I'd also second Rip at Source Automotive...

Ok question, just put on the bd towing twins, and everytime i my pac brake activates it leaks around the flange on the turbo, i have had the DP off several times to make sure it is flush and it still does it, anyone had this problem and if so how to fix it? THanks..

Check with Llyod Mills at Mid-Atlantic Diesel. He carries a full line of the flanges for twins, and he can get custom stuff reasonable.http://midatlanticdiesel.com/_wsn/page7.html

Which turbo is it leaking from? You might have a leak there and need to fix that. I hate exhaust leaks. I chased one for months.
The exhaust brake just puts back pressure into the system. You have the butterfly 4in or the actual exhaust? I always wanted a twins with an e brake. Some times its the gasket, turbo surface, turbine clamp doesn't push the turbine flange into the turbo with enough force to seal up. You could take off that clamp and push some of the tabs so it can seal up harder. I had to look for blow-by and soot deposits. I was gonna just use compressed air to do leak checks, but I'm lazy.. |
What Mike said... which flange??? I swapped bottom turbos on my BD tow set and the turbine discharge flange looked like it had passed some exhaust out...
