You would have to go and brag about your numbers now wouldn't ya.

It was neat to watch the smoke roll like that. Really need to show the hippies the tree that kept getting blasted with the smoke.

I would like to play with a silver66 and see how it does... I'd hold onto the 62 for all around cruising around, road trips to colorado, etc.
Aren't the sps series supposed to respond well to nitrous? Given any thought to making your 62 into a SB62?

they are, and I have! but the cost to upgrade to a SB is pretty high because it's essentially a different turbo... different center section, different turbine housing, only thing that stays is the compressor. so I've been on the lookout for a good deal on a used one, and as luck would have it, a board member turned me on to a good deal, so I've got a SB66 on the way!

as for nitrous... I was toying with the idea, but definately need more clutch. but that shouldn't be a problem... I called Peter yesterday, and he's building me a 3800 12CB sprung dual disk

my bank account hates me

thanks man, I wish the videos picked up more of the turbine sound of the exhaust, driving around it sounds awesome! the wheels are 01-02 alloys powdercoated black.

On the street, I don't lay into it so hard at low RPM and I'll usually roll into it below 2000, so it's actually a pretty clean setup
My mistake. I was pretty far away so guess I did not hear it light off so late! Glad it drives so well!

I ment to ask you since we seem to be getting the same sort of setup going on. What rack mods did you do to your AFC housing? I'm hopeing to hit 1100pounds at the rear wheels. You said your plate is also a custom grind is it similar to any others? i think im going to end up with a 100

cut 3/8 off the back of the AFC foot, ground the face of the foot flat so no defuel, ditched the cupped washer on the front of the diaphragm, put the thin washer on the front and spaced it back about .080" or so, fender washer on the back. only half the nut is threaded on the shaft!

the plate is a 100 type profile, but it's ground much deeper than a regular 100 plate
