Studs or Bolts???
Studs or Bolts???
I dont mean to sound completly retarded or anything but stock what holds the head on? studs or bolts? When i installed my injectors i saw that my truck has studs not bolts. I just dont want to waste money on studs if i all ready have them. I know the whole point of aftermarket studs is the higher tensile strenght im just not sure if from the factory they came with studs or not. I would like to order my turbo but i know what will happen if my head is not properly attached to my block first
i was thinking about the htt super stock 62 but im still not 100% sure. im pretty sure that it had studs when i intalled my injectors but i will pull the valve cover this weekend just to make sure before i order my turbo.
you can see a number of thm that are not under the valvecover........a whole line of them along the exhaust manifold side.
No need to pull the cover just for that, you can see them plain as day on the passengerside.
