Thumbs up Solid Steel steering brace customer support!

Just called them - I need the nut/shaft part that goes on the steering brace, as I got my brace off a wrecked truck (rear ended). I didn't hide the fact that I'm not the original purchaser - told him how the threads stripped while removing it from the old truck.

Ready to pay the $25 or so PSC quoted me (but they were out, directed me straight to SolidSteel), I asked how they'd like me to pay for it.. To which he replied "I don't want you to pay for it"

A+ guys... and thanks.

Nice!

See how easy it is to make someone a loyal customer, a $25 part retail will probably net them 100 fold just from word of mouth. Someone's thinking of the big picture...

Make sure you are dealing with the proper manufacturer of the DSS.

www.solidsteel.biz

Pretty sure the "other" company was the one suffering from customer service problems (which is why they don't seem to be around anymore, even though their .ca website is still up)

Oh, by the way, I received the package from them a week ago, and low and behold.. they decided to protect the nut with a new bearing and all the hardware for installation!!

Totally above and beyond...

And yes, it made a HUGE difference in the truck... Love it! I hadn't seen any deflection in the pitman arm before the brace, but it still made a huge difference.
