Smarty/TST vs. Smarty/Comp comparisons?

Anybody out there have any real world comparisons with stacking Smarty with Tst vs. Comp? I'm getting ready to buy a Smarty and I already have a Comp (drag). Which stack is better for getting more power from an H.O. see sig for setup. Thanks [coffee]

The TST has performed better in every case where it's been tried, as far as I know. But this is only in a driveability sense.

On the dyno, I doubt you'd see much difference in peak power-- but I would expect the TST to show a better, fatter curve than the Comp when both are matched to the Smarty.

It's all in the dynamic timing of the Smarty.

I think with the TST you're gonna have more room to play since it is a "fuel only" box. So with the smarty you wouldn't have to worry about the settings with timing.

Where as in the COMP, you can only use the settings that don't add timing so that kinda limits you to a smaller amount of options.

I believe it depends upon the mods done.

I have a customer that gained 70+ Hp with the TST over the drag Comp . That was with a CaTCHERized ECM with timing. ( # 9 )
Twins, cam... to usuall stuff [laugh]

several NW Bombers have tried both combos on ETHand ETC motors, the hands down winner is TST.

I would have to dig for the numbers but on an eth with tst/catcher/mach4
I believe the number was 534 or close.

maybe Don remembers

I stand happily corrected:)

TST! Runs better with the Smarty/Catcher than the Comp.

The TST gives you a reliability factor of at least two times VS a COMP. I have customers on their 8th and 9th COMP boxes now.

****, now i'm going to have to buy a TST too [laugh] . Are these results with the PM3 or the Tst comp version?

I think I remember something about the TST with sledpuller program. :)
