Smarty Edge Comp Stack

How Many Of You Have Used This Combo. I Was Wondering How It Was Going To Work. What Settings Work Best. And What Kind Of Power Do You Think I Will Make. I Know I Wont Make Much More, Im Doing It More For Driveability. And Do They Really Spool The Turbo Up About 200 Rpms Quicker

I run the same way as Bjans. Pulls sled real good and can hand the little rice burners there buts with no problem. Love it, although Ive been told a TST smarty stack gives more power according to Dzlfarmboy and getblown5.9. Im saving up to check this for myself.

I have the smarty drag comp and tst pm3 right now and I'll tell you that on my truck I like the smarty drag comp better. It seems pull harder than the pm3.

I was running the comp and smarty stack, it ran really well. I ran the smarty on 8 and the comp on 3x3 or 2x3, with it on 5x5 it just smoked. 5x5 was fun racing but getting out in traffic it would just black out the road. On the lower comp settings it seems like it had the same power without the smoke, this is probably due to the fact I still have my stock turbo. So one day I got a wild hair, sold the edge and bought a quadzilla that didnt work from the start. My box is at quadzilla right now, might be in the market for another edge.

Smarty 4 gives me higher RPM's and better driving. I don't care too much for the higher settings. They seem to peter out on top for my truck and don't seem to run as high of RPM without cutting out/defueling or something. I always leave the drag comp on level 2x5 or 3x5 for just driving but for saying "See ya!!!" to everybody thats tried so far it goes to 5x4. 5x5 is good but seems to pull just a tad harder with the timing on 4 for some reason. The new Smarty program Bob has seems to help with a few more RPM's than even before.

This is really a thing that you must test on your own. I prefer SW2, 1x3 for towing & adjust my drag comp for play....seems to run best on sw2. The pedal isn't jumpy & I don't have to use my drag comp unless I want to play.

I run the smarty on 3 and the edge on 3 (drive) most of the time, edge down to 1 (milage) when using cruise control. Every now and then I kick the smarty to 6 or 8 and enjoy and probally annoy lol.
