Scotty 2 observations
Well I finally got one. I installed it without the hole for about 14 hours. It was much quieter than the BHAF and cool down took no time at all. I cut the hole this afternoon and man what a difference. That turbo is LOUD. But it sounds so sweet (can't wait to push more than stock boost through it). It spools up A LOT faster than with the BHAF and the EGT's struggle to get to 1100 where as before they would get there pretty quickly. I love this setup. If anyone gets a scotty and needs the hole saw, I've got mine up for sale or rent. Just PM me about it.

A couple things quiet it down. A TAG & a cowl dam. Ck my pictures on the cowl dam. :)

I don't want to quiet it down. I want to make it louder.:D

I'm running my scotty with the silencer ring removed ..................sweet sweet turbo whine @ 36lbs........I love it

It's a different type of whine than what I had with the BHAF. I guess you can say it's sharper than the BHAF, but it doesn't droan like the BHAF. Instead of a wheeee, it's more of a WHEEEEE.

After a few more miles, I have to say that this thing rocks. I finally drove with my windows up today and it is a little noisy on the inside of the cab running 75mph and 10psi of boost, but nothing to bad, just turn the radio up.:D EGT's are down slightly, but I didn't expect much since I'm stock. Cool down time is dramatically reduced. Boost is also more responsive. I can't wait to see how this thing performs with an EZ and a set of 275's.:D
