Results of my TAG

Well we just got back from our trip to the coast. I noticed a 25* drop in egt's from 1175* down to 1150* on two good pulls over & back. The Scotty II is quieter & I gained one mile per gal on fuel mileage. Been over that road at least 10 times pulling the 5vr we have now and best mileage before TAG was 11.2 worst was 10.5 on a rainy windy day. This weekend it was sunny 65* no wind & got 12.228, 306 mile round trip.
I use to go over those hills at 45mph pulling her down in 2nd. Now it's 60mph with throttle left to spare. Thats thanks to DTT trany upgrades & ddII inj. No noticeable difference with TAG.

Thanks for the follow up Tankeryanker:) I think I'm going to give it a try. The only part I don't care for is loosing some of the turbo wine.:(

I think what tanker was saying was there was no noticeable difference in his uphill speed with the tag.

Yep that was it. No real noticeable difference on how she pulled.
I also notced a quicker responce off the line when empty. As far as turbo whine I get enough of that in my big truck. Already looseing my hearing after 30yrs of driving truck.
