Question about my Mad Ecm

I have noticed that on the few occasions I have driven the truck hard and actually had it floored that when I lift off of the pedal a lil bit the truck will accelerate, I notice then when on the highway on a good run, as I said it will actually pick up more speed if I lift just a lil, any reason for this? could I have a bad/ improperly adjusted TPS? For the life of me I can not figure it out, other than that the truck runs awesome withthe ECU, its not a big problem and I have no issues just living with it ;)

I think this is common with the Mad ECM. I know a good friend has the same thing with his. He just changed to a Smarty and said it seemed the same way.

Thanks Tiger, I thought it was just me, either way its still the best mod I made to the truck.

No doubt. I ordered a Smarty after trying my buddies Smarty on my truck this week. What an awesome program!

What's happening is that the VP44 is putting out everything it has when you have it floored. When you lift slightly, the VP actually catches up and the truck seems to accelerate a little bit.

Just about every modded truck I have ridden in, mine included, with a stock VP has done this. The few hotrod VP trucks I've been in don't do it.
