Pulls to the left hard while braking
I just installed the o3 tracbar and the DSS. It now pulls hard to the left SOMETIMES when I hit the brake. Everything I installed was torqued and double checked. I am lost.
Mine did the same thing, had it flushed, checked the bearings, steering components, had it aligned. The one thing that changed it was replacing the brake lines with braided ones. hasn't happened since.
 If that is it then I'd be sooooooo suprised. It has to be something with the recent front end crap I just put on. Brake lines?.........
Maybe it has been doing it for a while, but the slop in the steering box and trac bar masked it.
Now that everything is tightened up, you are noticing it more? Gotta be the brakes, since it's only doing it while braking. phox |
Ok...... you talked me into it , phox. I'll tear the brakes down this week.
Hard to believe this but the first thing to do is check that the rear brakes are adjusted correctly.
Can you elaberate on this one? I am all ears at this point.

Ever paddled in a two person canoe? Notice, if you're in the front, you have almost no control over the direction the canoe goes--and the person paddling in the back has almost all the steering control. It's the same with cars/trucks. Though the front does the brunt of the actually stopping work, if, say, your right rear is adjusted tighter than the left rear, that will pull the truck right under heavy braking. Same idea with dual brakes on a tractor---hit the left brake, tractor pulls left. Hope this helps a little.
