Pulling truck???

Im very interested in building a truck to pull sleds. Im trying to get some advice from people who know more about it then me. Im wondering if anybody would know what upgrades i should do to my truck before i try to pull with it. Im scared i will break something and just make bigger problems. Any tips would be great as im very new to this. I plan on upgrading the turbo and maybe injectiors. I know i have a stock turbo but im not sure about anything else. thanks

you already have a p pump on it so thats nice. dd clutch track bars 4000gsk locker in rear air locker in front head studs turbo depends on class you want to pull in if there is a 2.6 2.8 or 3.0 class where u ae at here here is not. valve terrain upgrade. it also depends on what p pump u got on it. plus a different cam

ok thanks, i was thinking and since im running a p pump does that mean i have a aftermarket cam already.

If you are scared of breaking something, don't pull.

You will break something, no amount of trying will stop that......[laugh]

Once you can accept that fact, try and search the mods here.

I understand that you cant build a unbreakable truck. Im just trying to get some of the weak points upgraded some i dont break as much. Thats the information im looking for. Thanks

traction bars would help out with that. i dont know if u got a different cam in it. you are going to want to put one in that will hold up toi the higher rpm.
