PRO COMP X TERRAIN 325 80 16s ARE ON!

I did not know if they would work but I put them on any way. running tough country 5 in. lift and everything clears except for the last 3% of turn but I can live with that. also read on here a while ago about using antifreez for a tire ballancing medium, I put 12 oz. in each tire, ( no weights! ) and she rides like a caddy going down the road. no vibes. Switched from MTRs, I like these a lot better. Verry nice quqlity tire, Bring on the mud and snow!

DITTO! Sounds like they look good!

Also I've never heard of Anit-freeze as a balancing medium... I guess it works though!

Anti-freeze doesn't seem like a good idea.

Why isn't it more popular, if it's so good?

Balance beads are a much better method, imo.

hohn.... I can tell you that at 70 MPH there is no vibration whatsoever, the liquid displaces just like the beads. and how can you say one is better that the other if you have not tried both. I am done with the flying lead thing

I know of a couple of people running antifreeze. All have good things to say.

Like to see some pictures as well.

Is there a rule of thumb on how many ounces you put in the tire compared to the height / size of the tire ? Meaning, like 8oz for a 33" tire ?

Sounds better than the lead. I hate the weights on the outside of my wheels. Just remember to tell the tire folks when you get them replaced!

One of the guy that is running Michelen XML 325/85r16 is running 1 litre (something like 34 ounces?) per tire. Those are pretty heavy military tires though.

Did true test for these tires today, 11 foot fully loaded lance camper and pulling my 32 ft. offshore power boat. around 19,500 lbs alltogether, these pro comps are way more stable than the MTRs that I have been running. I have finaly found the tires for this truck!
