Right foot and mileage are directly connected.[coffee] The more the right pedal is pushed, the more the mileage will drop.:o Ease up on right foot, and mileage will come up. Remember the wise old saying, you play, you pay (in more ways than one).

Has your area switched to winter fuel? I drop about 4mpg with winter fuel. Try a winter front (cardboard) to get the engine temp up quicker - this has helped with mine.

you might try cleaning the AIT and MAP sensors to see if that helps? Have you checked for codes?

high bid 10-12-2009 08:33 AM

gear ratio? and yes, city vs. hwy makes a diff.

x1phats10x 10-12-2009 05:46 PM

im running 3.55 gears with 285/75/16 tires. the skinny pedel stays off the metal all most most of the time. im thinking it might be something in the timeing. i had a inj pump put on about a year ago and ever since then my towing power went to crap. it runs good with out a load but soon as ya put something behind id it falls on its face.

x1phats10x 10-12-2009 05:48 PM

i cecked the codes today only one i have is a 0500 and thats for the vehicle speed sensor

scottsjeeprolet 10-12-2009 08:40 PM

Considering your running a different size tire than what the speedo is calibrated for your odometer is off.
Oh ya you have the Adrenaline correct? Edge sells the Attitude.[dummy]
Which tune are you running? You can set the Pulse up to read the correct MPH. You have to input the stock tire size and the new size.

psd tuner 10-12-2009 10:39 PM

ahhh yes different size tires make a big difference. on my bronco i have 33s on it and i was getting 10 mpg according to the odo. i checked it with my gps and i was getting 14 mpg. the gps was on the money. i felt like a goober after that [duhhh]. cause i been woundering why i keep getting 10 mpg with a 351 with cam heads headers exhaust intake performance coil advanced timing and so on

x1phats10x 10-14-2009 04:02 PM

ill have to check that never thought about the tires screwin with it . i dont know really what settins im runnin on the quadzilla. i emailed them about about information on custom tuning but they didnt geive much info

Hotwheelbill 10-15-2009 04:24 AM

Just one quick thought is tire pressure. You may want to check the pressure more often with the larger tires......more road contact.
