a-pillar

Want to put 4 gauges in. Does anybody know of a place to purchase a quad a-pillar.

Should I not worry about boost and just go with pryo, fuel and trans temp ?

Boost is really not a necessity in most cases, great for diagnostics or general info That fuel pressure gauge would be more important from my point of view

I put the trans temp gauge in a nice little pod that fits on the steering column. It's not in the way and is easy to read.

I would say put one in the steering column pod

Probably EGT

Then get a triple pillar mount

You can still put 4 gauges in a 3 pod, but you would need something like the dual guage found at Geno's http://198.104.149.53/CoastalData/sh...ID=413&CATID=1 or http://tinyurl.com/d7lva . It is a combo Boost and EGT by Westach.

I like the service from Geno's Garage, but I have no ties to them or Westach.

If you go with Westach gauges you can get their combo EGT/boost gauge, then you can do a triple! In fact, you might want to look at the gauges they offer, you might get it down to a double ... !

BTW: Took a pic of my Westach gauge ... it's in my gallery, waiting for approval!

Dr. Evil, you're too funny!
When someone trusts a gauge when they're thousands of feet above the ground, I think I, too, will put a little trust in its accuracy while safely on the ground! I suppose you are speaking from experience? Then please share.

I've actually got enough spots for 5 gauges. 4 on the pillar and one mounted on the dash fascia between the speedo and tach. I really like having a 4 gauge pillar. It's different and nobody in a dodge has one (that I know of). Fiberglass and bondo is a wonderful thing.

Naw, have experience with other electric guages though. Mostly like giving you a hard time...

artman1308,

We have the 4 gauge overhead mounts that go over yuor rearview mirror on the windshield up next to the headliner. Otherwsie you'll have to get a 3 gauge A pillar and maybe a steering column mount for the fourth gauge etc. Check our site or call us as we have all the Auto meter mounts that are available etc.
