I installed a smarty s03 tuner on my truck. It seems not to add any power or even smoke.

I even installed a throttle responce chip. It didn't change the throttle response.

 

I have been experimenting with mine for some time before I settled on a custom setting on #3. I seem to get better mileage with my setting but power drops off at the higher RPM. It's drive ability is good, too.
And smoke is the same between 3 and 5.

Are you having the upload set before unplugging. For some reason at the end of an update it flickers my fuel pressure gauge....maybe the way I have it wired.

Also, if you have an 02 make sure you have the correct version for your truck. IIRC 2000-2001.5 is a different version.
