Boy, the list is large...what about your wallet?
You really need to be honest about what you want to do with the truck and how much power you want, the sky is the limit 1000+hp?
I say your first expense should be a good set of gauges if you don't already have them.

I have a '95 as well. If you don't have gauges, I would get pyro and trans temp for sure. My first mods were killing kdp, sliding the plate full forward, adjusting timing to 16*. My next mods are #10 plate and 3k gsk, boost elbow and high flow filter. Eventually my tranny will go and I'm prepared for that. Why put in a built tranny if this one isn't shot? After tranny, I will go for new turbo such as sps62 or htb2 and then dv's and then maybe injectors. For now, I would kill kdp and slide plate full forward or grind stock plate. That should give you a little bit more juice and peace of mind in killing kdp. Let us know what you decide.

Grind a 100 plate, and u'll smile. But get gauges before doing that. And ur auto tranny (if thats what u have) will shutter with that plate, so it's just a matter of time before it need's to be built up alittle.

Well said

add a GSK to really broaden up that powerband... it will be a night and day difference over stock..... U will think that the pedal is directly linked to the rpms with how responsive it will be...

hey i got a 95 12v in my truck and all my mods are for my goal of 500+hp, hers what i got

-laser cut dvs
-435 injectors(not yet installed)
-#4 fuel plate
-marine head gasket
-12mm head studs
-4gsk and 60lb valve springs
-quick spool exhaust manifold
-htts 71 series 64/14 turbo
-4inch exhaust
-built tranny(auto)

hopefully with all those mods i'll be in the 500+hp range
and like everyone said, get gauges first pyro, boost, and tranny, i also got a fuel pressure gauge so i don't starve the injector pump of fuel. but it all depends on what the truck is for and the hp you want, so let us know what your plans are and we'll point you in the best direction.
