Pensacola diesels p7100 “hot” injection pump?

So as some of you may know from my other post my pump is shot so has anyone ever used Pensacola diesels p7100 “hot” injection pump? They say it comes with 191DVs and 4k gsk and can be built to flow to my standards. I guess it adds about 85hp. I told them I was looking for the 450hp range. They said they don’t really go by hp but by how much they flow. They said that the stock pump is about 85 cc at 500 and the have 170cc at 250. This is over my head so if any one can explain this id be very interested in hearing. I am also thinking about going with there stage 2 injectors to go with the pump. They said they add about 70 hp on the 215 pump. So my question to you guys is have you heard anything about them good/bad. And will 170 cc at 250 plus the 70hp injectors put me in the mid 400s? Thanks for any help you guys can give Im really missing my truck. Imp not made for a car.

I suspect they are refering to CC's of fuel delivered at cam lift levels, but I am not sure.

Don't know about the Hot Pump but I'm happy with the stage two injecters,can't go wrong for the money. What kind of price did you get for this pump? I might consider it down the line for a replacment to my little 160.....

Tell them you want about 450-500cc's at 1000 strokes, see if they can get those pumps up to that level. if so, probably a good deal

The cc/1000 strokes translates to cubic mm per plunger stroke. Every time the plunger goes up and pumps fuel through the injector, the pump puts out x mm/ stroke. Not all of it gets into the cyliner, in fact, most of it is returned to the pump or tank. Takes fuel to make power. I'm not sure on how many CC's equals how much power with this injector and that turbo/ exhaust/ intake combo.

I dont understand the "85 cc at 500" & "170cc at 250." Either you misunderstood, or they mis spoke. They are doubling the fuelling and cutting power in half at the same time

I guess I misunderstood that as well, I took that 85 at 500 up to 170 at 250 strokes to mean that that are doubling fuel in half the strokes they must be quadrupling the power no? twice the fuel at half the strokes so at 500 strokes with the "hot" pump would be 340mm3/stroke? IDK maybe I just confused myself moreso.

I think we're all lost now, hopefully someone who knows what's going on can chime in here.

Why causes most of the fuel to be returned to the pump or tank, versus into the cylinder?
