pacbrake compressor mount with aftermarket intake

Just picked up pacbrake kit and they want the compressor mounted next to the passenger battery, however it looks awfully close to the intake tube with the stock airbox. Anyone know if this still fits in the same spot with an aftermarket intake? Currently have an S&B intake installed, just curious if it fits before I go through the hassle of pulling the battery and doing a dry fit.

Just had my Pacbrake installed a month ago. Great product, I hope you got the inline version or plan on keeping stock turbo. I made the mistake of getting the turbo mount version now in the process of researching if I can have something fabricated because I was looking to build more performance than the stock charger offers. If you have made the same mistake and have not installed it yet, I highly recommend returning it for inline version.

The area is tight with aftermarket air intake but, neatly fits with the battery tray.

Perhaps you should consider mounting the compressor away from the engine, perhaps on the frame. A friend has his there and it works fine. Mine is mounted on top the intake manifold and gets pretty warm.

I would love to relocate it but the mounting hardware and PacBrake is a turbo mount. I guess that I could call PacBrake and see if the mount could be changed.

Perhaps we're talking apples and oranges here. Is your Pac vacuum operated? I was referring to the air "compressor", not the actuator that's attached to the brake itself and is either a vacuum or air actuated cylinder.

I will try and call Pacbrake and see if there inline mount can be purchased separately. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. My air compressor is located on the frame rail underneath the passengers door.
