Oil Temp Gauge
My son is also wondering the same thing......
Especially since he would like to put some lead sheeting on his oil pan for noise control reasons (I figure the lead sheeting will hold in the heat
).

I ran an oil temp gauge for a while but it was boring, almost always the same as the coolant temp.
On an '04 you might consider a real oil pressure gauge rather than temp. My understanding is that the oil pressure gauge in the '04s is just a fancy idiot light, it only registers zero and normal.
