i went to a 1/8 mile drag race yesterday here in mexico,

...actually i was expecting advices on getting more traction on that dodge diesel, I basicly modded that truck,

i put in a 6 plate, some 4K GSK, 370s and an HTB2/60 12 housing. afe megacannon and 4" exhaust, and gauges, its a 96 215 manual

it goes 85-87 mph in the 1/8
and 108 MPH in the 1/4

what are traction bars? If it is what i think...(bars from the frame to the diferencial) just wondering how they work/help?

ok probably that guy is gonna buy slicks this week, they are ordered.

 

12 valve you got the idea. Usually they go from the frame to the spring perchs (U bolt plate) to help eleiminate axle wrap. I have seen some older models that connected with U bolts to the axle housing.

 

Well we can't exactly spell it out,.... but we call everybody that not just mexicans
