New UNI Filters

Anyone tried the new UNI filters that are shown on their website ?
They show two filters both with 4" inlet. One 8" long ,one 11" long.

I know the new scotty II uses the UNI filter and i'm thinking of getting one.
Is it still a good improvement over stock filter if I don't cut the hole in the cowl area?
My max H.P. will be between 300-325.

Anything is an improvement over the stock Brick filter.

The ScottyII is a great product for anyone on the performance trail. Having the filtering ability as well as a protected filter is really CooOOOOlllLLL

I have one and would recommend it for dusty areas, but I did notice in increase in EGT's over the AFE filter. I believe the AFE flows more air, but also lets more dirt in.

I run the scotty with the uni filter, haven't noticed alot of cooling difference running empty vs. a BHAF, but with a trailer it seems to cool better. Sounds pretty mean however.

I guess I should clarify what I said before. The AFE filter is also run in the Scottys II setup. I tried the new UNI filter to see if it flowed any better. I switch off depending on where I am going. If I am going to be in very dusty conditions, then I will run the UNI. Otherwise, for towing, I only run the AFE in this setup. I find it hard to believe that their is anything out there that can flow like this setup.
