Need some Smarty info or help
 
'01 drw 4x4, 125hp vp44, fass 150, 100hp sticks, auto trans-(getting built)
just got a smarty, need some info on hp, what settings as far as duration and injector timing I should use to maximize performance.
I know what works for the 325 ho's but not these 2nd gens.

I have ran most the settings just to see what works best for it. Every truck is gonna react different. I run most the stock timing and duration that the SMARTY level has built into it. I guess just try several different settings. I run the Boost/Fuel setting stacked with my Edge and it runs awesome. Level 8 runs super hard on the bottom end but then it falls on its face on the top end. So just mess around and see what runs good.

the smarty is great because you can stack it with a box that has fuel or fuel and timing. and pending other mods done to your truck really the smarty will act somewhat different to each truck. on timing with smarty. if you have bigger injectors like 100hp or bigger I would say you can use timing level 3-4. I run this with 150 injectors. duration I keep at 1. TQ mang, pending your tranny or clutch this is how hard the smarty hits on TQ bottem end. most people with auto's feel a differance I do feel a diff with my 6 speed. since I have a DD clutch I run it on TQ mang level 6. the smarty sw. 1-9. 1 is a fuel econ sw. you can try different setting's pending what your running with it. don't add to much timing. so what does that mean don't run a box that adds timing already with a smarty sw. that has timing also. need to use a non timing level. 2-4-6-8. the higher you go in numbers is how much harder and quicker the fueling hits. the smarty is really responsive when you throw a good set of sticks around 150hp with a smarty. even better when you add fuel to it. www.madselectronics.com go on the website and read about the smarty for your truck and what they have found and talk about under FAQ'S good infor to know. also if you tow dont tow with heavy timing.
