Need Some Input on Upgrades
Need Some Input on Upgrades
Hey guys...Just wanted to run these upgrades by you. For my next purchases I am going to go with the Raptor 150 Fuel Pump, TS MPV, and then I am trying to figure out what fuel pressure gauge to get. I have autometer right now for my other gauges, is their fuel pressure gauge good (electric?). What injectors would you suggest with this set up...The Mach 1.5? Jammer 3's or any other ones you might suggest?..Thanks.

I have Auto Meter mechanical gauges and love them. As far as injectors we would need to know your plans for the truck. Daily driver, sled, track, tow and what hp level you want to be at. I would for sure get Mach injectors but far as what size we need to know what your plans are. That way you don't have to buy them twice.
Sorry about that...Looking for good reliable towing power that I can have a little fun with on the weekends. I use the truck for work so it at least needs to survive!
If you don't want to go all out and want to keep stock turbo, but want a good boost in power I would go with Mach 1.6. I must warn you tho once you start the power adders it's hard to stop. So if you think you may upgrade your turbo or want more power then go with Mach 4 you will be able to drive with stock turbo untill you can upgrade but I wouldn't run them with the stocker on a permanent basis.
I've ran my 0-30 psi Autometer electric fuel pressure gauge on my dually over three years with no problems. I've only got 6 months on my 0-100 on my 12v, but so far so good. I doubt you will have any issues with them, the fuel delivery on the the 24v's don't have the pulses that the 12v's do.
For injectors, I'd go with F1's. Sounds like the Mach 1.6 is more your flavour.

i am happy with my set up. it run really well for what i am doing with it. its a daily driver and i tow often. my egt at wot never really get over 1300* thats loaded and when i let off it goes down. normal driving its around 900* goin down the road. they are a little smokey at first but once the turbo spools up it clears up.
