I just purchased a BHAF from napa. I would like to know how the other guys already with a BHAF mounted them in and made it look professional and not some hack job.

 

That's what I did with mine, I made a shield to protect a little from turbo heat.

Not perfect, but works good.

 

What year/generation is your truck? If its a second gen, like mine, you can use the template available in the tech section. I slightly modified the template to make mine - you can check the pics in my photo gallery for ideas. Like some others here I made it so it holds the filter in place using a couple of aluminum angles and a couple of dryer vent band clamps.
