Monitoring via Tablet?

Hello all I was wondering if there is a program to pull data like egts, fuel pressure, boost, trans temp, etc.. by installing an android tablet and linking it into the truck, and roughly a cost and supply's needed to do so?

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Yes all it said was clears codes and will view live data, I wish it was a little more specific, I'd like to be able to pick certain live data and be able to set them up as gauges

You will not be able to get much of that data with a scan tool on a 2nd gen Ram. I imagine you're wanting to see more of the diesel engine side of things that the factory instrument cluster doesn't provide already. You'll be able to see boost pressure (MAP sensor) and that is about it. You might get trans temp, but I can't remember if that is a temp switch or an actual sensor. Either way I would not use that, I've seen my trans temp over 220º pulling a trailer in the mountains of Vermont and the TRANS TEMP light never came on.

For EGT and fuel pressure, you will need a stand alone monitor or a gauge set. There is no factory installed EGT probe or fuel pressure sensor. And since those were never there, the computers will not ever have a reading for something that doesn't exist on the OBD II port.

Yes, you can monitor and even data log all of those parameters and LOTS more, via tablet or smartphone if you use a Quadzilla Adrenaline tuner.
It will also let you set up on-screen gauges and/or digital monitors for over a dozen different data items. You’ll also be able to set your own fueling and timing curves and do far more custom tuning than with anything else, even a Smarty.
